The Lovelaces

The Lovelaces have been working in the world of education for more than 40 years. They find it odd that the myth that learning has to be difficult, uncomfortable, and just plain drudgery is still in place. It’s almost as hard for them to understand why people still struggle with the idea that they have to justify enjoyment.

In this talk Curt will offer a historical perspective from the Jewish culture of the Old Testament as well as the twentieth century. Sandra will offer some basic information about the intrinsic value of games, both store-bought and home-made. Together they will build the case that games and learning go hand-in-hand.
