Multi- and Cross-Cultural Outreach
The Lord has been providing opportunities for Lifework Forum to serve His people in countries beyond the USA for more than 30 years. Whether living or visiting in another culture we always find we come to know God more intimately. For us, the diversity of culture represents the diversity of the Godhead - both inside and outside our own borders. We pray that as you share in this ministry online you will have the same experience.
Annual Conference - BHC
Lifework Forum organizes an international conference each year. Families join us to worship God, consider the truth of His Word, and participate in Christian fellowship. In addition to serving on the field, we send out periodic emails and respond to inquiries while we're stateside. Another development that is appearing is that families order items over the internet that we eventually deliver to them. We call ourselves camels for the Lord.
This annual conference is a powerful component of our ministry. Families have come to set their vacation schedules around the dates. As the details of BHC2009 begin to develop we will keep you informed.

Colorado Springs, Colorado/Sept 2009
Sandra was invited to attend the national Christian Homeschool Leadership conference of HSLDA. One of her responsibilities was to speak at the international workshop where she offered an update based on her recent trip to Europe. Attendees responded positively to the requests for prayer and several added their names to our broadcast list for online updates.
Sandra was delighted to act as hostess to Kor, Erna and Bauke Stelma, friends from The Netherlands. The Lord brought the Stelmas to the conference through divine circumstances and they were a blessing to many. Their response was that they too benefited from the welcoming environment, interchange of ideas, and Christian fellowship. God will take His people wherever He wants them to be and then blesses them mightily.
Apologia Live Conference/Feb 2009
Sandra attended this homeschool mom's retreat to accompany a friend. We are including it as a report here because we want to let you know about this wonderful opportunity for mothers committed to the full-time discipleship of their children to renew their vision. The cost is very reasonnable and the gathering is short, sweet and rich! It's not too early to register for Apologia Live 2010 when there will be two opportunities: Chicago on February 26 and Baltimore again on March 12. Check it out.
