Colorado Springs, Colorado / September 2009

Sandra was invited to attend the national Christian Homeschool Leadership conference of HSLDA. One of her responsibilities was to speak at the international workshop where she offered an update based on her recent trip to Europe. Attendees responded positively to the requests for prayer and several added their names to our broadcast list for online updates.

Sandra was delighted to act as hostess to Kor, Erna and Bauke Stelma, friends from The Netherlands. The Lord brought the Stelmas to the conference through divine circumstances and they were a blessing to many. Their response was that they too benefited from the welcoming environment, interchange of ideas, and Christian fellowship. God will take His people wherever He wants them to be and then blesses them mightily.

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."
                                                                                 Romans 12:2

God’s covenant with Abraham extends to people as diverse “as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore”. Genesis 22:17  The uniqueness of each individual is caught up in the unity of the blessings He bestows on His chosen people.

“I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.” Genesis 2:2,3

HSLDA Summit / March 2010

It is appropriate to call this Lifework Forum’s inaugural attendance at this valuable event in our nation’s capitol. After welcoming leaders from around the country, the HSLDA staff did a marvelous job of preparing us to meet with the legislators from our own state. Our main goal was to open the door for communication and to provide information on the topics of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Parental Rights Amendment, and other education issues. Sandra was energized by the experience and hopes to return in 2011.

This photo is especially meaningful as it was taken moments before Sandra fell and chipped a bone in her right foot. She continues to limp a bit, but is healing nicely. Praise God.

DOMESTIC REPORTS

Goal

Our desire is for this website to reach out to people as effectively as possible. Please contact us with encouragement to meet that goal.

Chattanooga, TN / March 2010

Sandra celebrated her birthday in retreat at one of the True Woman’10 events - broken foot and all. Actually, God used her injury to give her a front row seat for the entire conference. Genesis 50:20 Hallelujah!

More than 2400 women gathered to draw closer to God in their personal walk. There were too many blessings to name, from the overall tone to the attention given each detail. The primary focus was God and His Word which is living and active. Hebrews 4:12 The Holy Spirit used the music, speakers, prayer sessions, workshops, fellowship, every aspect to encourage and challenge each attendee to become a truly godly woman under His sovereign hand.
