Ladies Bible Studies
God has blessed a small group of ladies in our efforts to learn more about Him through His Word. We invite you warmly under His hand to be edified with us.
Each lesson consists of a collection of verses related to a common topic. It is the participant’s responsibility to:
- review the verses to determine the topic,
- seek the LORD for what he has to teach about that topic in each passage; and
- join the discussion to share in his glorious riches.
Online participants are expected to complete their own personal study under the LORD’s tutelage prior to listening to the related episode. Every lady is urged to share her views, perspectives, understandings and questions as much as possible.
The Ladies Bible Studies are offered to promote a stronger personal relationship with God through the study of His holy, inspired and infallible Word. This growth in grace will be nurtured through individual study and meditation combined with group discussion and interaction. Please understand that these recordings are not intended to be authoritative. They are simply conversations held by women who love God and desire to know Him better.
The only text to be used is the Holy Scriptures as found in a generally recognized translation from the original languages of Hebrew and Greek. Participants may find the New International Version (1984 edition) most convenient as this is the translation used to prepare the studies. The NIV, 1984 can be found online to use as a helpful tool by those who wish to study in their heart language.
The foundational tenets of the group are reflected in the Nicene Creed. The purpose of the Ladies Bible Studies is found in Psalm 29:2 and not to elevate any church, pastor, ministry, individual, viewpoint, etc. Our desire is to encourage women in every corner of the globe to pursue holiness as directed in 1 Peter 1:15,16.
