Angels in the Pews
The Lovelaces have diligently searched the Scriptures on the topic of families in corporate worship. Two generations of family experience as well as more than 30 years in ministry have allowed them to hone their perspective and develop a plethora of insights and strategies. Curt and Sandra will provide generous amounts of information and encouragement as well as opportunities for parents to share their questions and concerns. from their book, Children in Church: Nurturing Hearts of Worship.
For some wives, living with an unsaved husband is an incomprehensible trial. Sandra speaks to what she calls God’s incomparable classroom from her years of personal experience. In this series of dynamic workshops she will address the issues of attitude, position and submission through the grid of Scripture.
The Framework for the Christian Life
Curt looks at some of the popular views of the bible today. Then he opens God’s Word to see what it says about itself. In Scripture we discover the only framework which will enable us to build a life which is pleasing to God.
Curt and Sandra share ways the Father’s plan for growth and development of godly disciples is advanced through the family structure. They will address the topics of parental leadership and character development in the process of raising the next generation in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
The Seven ‘Cs’ of Christian Leadership
You were called. You’re a Christian, a saint. What’s your job? Service to God through service to man. What’s that called? Leadership! These discussions of seven characteristics of true Christian leadership are for both men and women in their proper positions within the church. [3-4 sessions]
Christians and Civil Government
Many Christians have a fear that the administration in Washington is hostile to Christians and Christianity. To be fair, there are also many Christians who believe that this is not the case. What is the truth? How should we respond if the government is hostile? Is there ever a case for violent rebellion. Our am in these three sessions is to explore whether there is, in fact, governmental behavior which is mandating unBiblical, anti-Biblical actions on the part of people who fear the Lord. Further, we want to discuss how Christians may and should respond to such things.
